Prime: Blue Lagoon / Airport Transfer (Private tour)

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the recent volcanic eruption which flowed over the main road leading to the Blue Lagoon the route to the Blue Lagoon is slightly longer with the drive from Keflavik taking approx. 40 minutes and the drive from the Blue Lagoon to Reykjavik taking approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes. We would advise travellers who have booked their own admission tickets to take this into account time wise.

The Blue Lagoon

The Blue Lagoon geothermal spa is one of the most popular attractions in Iceland. The steamy lagoon flows in a lava formation. The warm waters are rich of silica minerals and bathing in the Blue Lagoon is reputed to help people suffering from skin diseases. The water temperature in the bathing area of the lagoon averages 37-39 °C. The lagoon is fed by the water output from Svartsengi, a nearby geothermal power plant. The water is fed into the lagoon for recreational and medicinal bathing.

The Blue Lagoon is situated approximately 13 km from the Keflavik International Airport and 39 km from the capital city of Reykjavik. That is a 20 minute drive from the airport and a 40 minute drive from Reykjavik.

This Blue Lagoon package offers you a 2 hour stay in the lagoon.
